Growing up so fast!
I found these pictures yesterday, they were taken back in April, I had to share them with everyone. Akayla got caught in the act, she broke into my purse and started putting on my lipgloss. I didn't believe it at first....but It's true, toddlers get into EVERYTHING!

Daddy Daughter Togetherness
On Wed the 21st of May I was out doing my visiting teaching and Keidy was in charge of Akayla for the evening. I came home a little after 9:00 pm and both of them are passed out on the floor. Keidy naturally was snoring up a storm and Akayla was asleep right beside him. It was the cutest thing. Unfortunately once I had entered the room, Keidy had woken up but I had him lay back down so I could at least take a quick picture. :-) Later that evening he told me about what he and Akayla had been up to while I was away from the apt. Apparently he put the poor girl to work. Her first lesson on how to do laundry. Keidy said that they actually had alot of fun together. She would pick up some of the clothes off the floor and Keidy would lift her up so that she could put them in the washer machine. He said she absolutely loved it. He said he started to feel bad because she had to keep walking back and forth between rooms to pick up the clothes she had dropped, she has such little legs that I'm sure she was getting quite the workout, which explains why she was out like a light when I got home. It's always warms my heart to hear of the fun little things that Akayla and her Daddy do together while I am away.

Bubbles!
On Friday the 16th of May, it was actually sunny out, so my little family and I to go to the park next to our apartment complex. There was another family there that were blowing bubbles so Akayla went to play with them. The nice family gave Akayla her very own bottle of bubbles, she was so excited!! This was her first time being independent with her own bubbles and it was so cute! She would pull the bubble stick out and put it right on her mouth and try to blow the bubbles. She would make the funniest face expressions as she licked the bubble soap off her mouth, it was hilarious! Akayla would then hold up the bubble stick for Keidy and I to try to blow the bubbles and since neither of us could get any bubbles out (due to there not being enough soap), she then would proceed to another family to see if they could do it. We had so much fun watching her learn how to blow bubbles and how to share with others, it was perfect!! :-)

Prego and Loving It!!
Well I'm 5 1/2 months Pregnant now and so far it's been pretty good (that is after I hit the 2nd trimester phase). The baby is starting to be quite the active little thing. Currently it's still a little tough to feel on the outside due to the extra weight that I gained with my first darling child. But I'm excited that I've hardly gained anything with this one, only about 5 lbs. I've been havening to be more active with this pregnancy due to Akayla always wanting to get into something or wanting to play. It's been alot of fun being a mommy and I'm very excited to have a new little bundle of joy in my life. It's deffinately going to be alot more work, but deffinately worth it.

Not to Move
Well, we've decided not to move. Instead we are going to go on a complete cleaning rampage and reorganize everything. I still have the thought process in my mind that if I was to move, would I keep this item. If not, then it's either Garbage or it goes in the Garage Sale pile. :-)
Last night I tackled a chunk of Akayla's closet. She had a lot of old/new clothes in there from when she was itty-bitty. So I sorted through all of them and divided them into Garbage, Garage Sale or keep for the new addition piles. It was fun to see how little Akayla used to be. Heck I even found some clothes that Akayla never wore and still had the tags on them, mainly because they were summer clothes that only fit her during the winter season. :-) Now I just need to tackle her dresser tonight to see what's in there that no longer fits. And then I'll be done with that part. Yahoo!!!! I'm on a roll. My goal is to complete at least one major task a day/night. Wish me luck :-)

To Move or Not to Move
The Hubby and i have been trying to decide whether or not to move into a bigger square footage apartments. Our rent has just jumped up another $100.00 so we figured we might as well look for a larger apartment for around the same price range. So far We have found a few that we like but some had Income restrictions and the others do not have anything currently available. We have until the end of this week to give our current Apt complex our notice. We've prayed about it but nothing seems to be working in our favor, so we've come to the conclusion that this may be our blessing in disguise. If we get a call saying that something has come available, then we will move. If it doesn't then we stay put. I'm excited to see which way it's going to go. I'll keep you posted.
Akayla's Day of Sun
4-12-08
We finally had a Sunny Saturday and I took Akayla to the park in Lynnwood, WA. Little Miss Independent only wanted to play on the slide. Naturally being the protective mommy that I am it was hard for me to just let her climb up and slide down by herself, but she pulled it off with flying colors. At one point where she did actually fall from the 3rd tier but managed to simply walk it off. She learned her lesson and never fell again. I was so proud of her though, she definitely knew how to play it safe. She would sit at the top of the slide and right after she began to slide, she would quickly roll over and slide the rest of the way down on her tummy. I love it! Such a big Girl!!
