5 Year Anniversary in Seattle~June 18, 2010

Keidy and I took the longest time to decide where we wanted to spend our 5 Year Wedding anniversary. We finally settled on staying in Downtown Seattle and found a wonderful hotel called the Alexis that was just about 2 blocks or so from Pike Place Market. We got to go on lovely hikes through the streets holding hands and being all lovey dovey. It was great.

Friday, 6/18/10, I am sick! I'm at work and had to leave early to be able to get to the walk in clinic because I had a very sore throat and I could not turn my neck and was experiencing spasms down my arms. Also there was a very intense migraine on top of it. So I was given an antibiotic and some muscle relaxers. I took some medicine, and took a nap on the couch while Keidy got the rest of our stuff ready. The we went to the Mexi Truck for a romantic Anniversary dinner and then headed to our hotel.

Saturday, 6/19/10 my neck was 100% better. I was so relived! I did not want to spend my anniversary miserable. Still had a bit of a sore throat but I was not going to complain! We walked up to Pike Place, got some Starbucks for breakfast and became tourists. It was fun. Of course it was raining but whatever, it's Seattle! That night we drove to the Space Needle cause I kinda wanted to go up but Keidy didn't want to spend the money just to see the city from above, so we then drove to a Mexi resturant and Keidy ordered this ridiculously huge burrito! It was sooo funny. He could barely eat it. Afterwards we just went back to the hotel and relaxed.

Sunday, 6/20/10 we went back up to Pike Place and watched Brazil soccer game at the Pike Place Brewery. We then bought the big lovely bouquet of flowers from Pike Place for Mom, Me and Nickole (my co-worker who was so fabulous to let me off work early). We then headed back to the hotel, packed up and hit the road. Adjusting back to reality was a struggle and we bickered but we loved our vacation and it was well deserved.
